about Lamento
Lamento is the story of Konoe, a reclusive human-cat 'Ribika' who becomes afflicted with a strange curse and is driven from his village. Bearing an ill-omen, he is forced from society and onto a perilous journey, unaware he exists as the centerpiece of a dark plot. Around him, the world is being consumed by the 'Void', a dark blight that kills anything it touches and with no cure has been pushing society ever towards extinction. Plagued by dark dreams and struggling to overcome his powerful emotions, Konoe finds himself at the mercy of powerful devils who intend to consume his soul.
